We were going to Centre Pompidou that afternoon and the bad weather wasn't going to cooperate even the slightest bit. I was too hasty that I didn't notice I took its rear and not the front.
This is the statue of St. Geneviève- who is the city's patron saint.
It is in Pont de tournelle, a stone's throw away from Notre Dame and on the way to Le Marais.
* where was this *
4th arrondissement
Pont de tournelle -Paris
Great shots despite the weather.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth :)
at least you still captured it. :)
ReplyDeleteDo you know that the artist who made the statue on the bridge is the same who made Christ the Redeemer in Rio? :-)
