The night scene of singapore river at the Riverside Point along Clarke Quay area is always filled with people.
There are lots of restaurants to choose from, you have fine dining and al fresco. You can go bar hopping or go to Ministry of sound (a well known disco bar). One of the highlights of this place is also the famous "reverse bungee" ride. But for those who just wants to enjoy the sights... you can either hop on a short trip ferry ride or walk around the block and delight in the beauty of this place.
seen along orchard road is this shopping centre opened in 1993, Ngee Ann City.
It has two office towers inside, among its shop is Takashimaya dept. store but my favorite is Kinokuniya - the largest bookstore in southeast asia. Inside you have a wide array of books and magazines. I would buy kawaii (manga) comics and also browse through their french and german section. ^-^
this is the Singapore Art Museum 新加坡美术馆; located at Bras basah road, from mrt city hall, approximately 5-20 mts away.
