Here's a compilation of my recent trip to S'pore last decembre.
It's only for a couple of days and it's a total r & r or me and my family but the photos i took on my memory card looks more like i went there forever, that i had a hard time re-posting these fotos. ^0^

For our first day, we walked around the area nearest to our hotel.

Minutes along city hall is the St. Andrew's road where you'll pass by St. Andrew's Church and the Civic District. ( parliament, supreme court, art house parliament, etc..)
It is best to take a walk so you can see the structures up close, though another option would be to take a sight seeing tour bus or a "Duck tour".

This was taken outside the MRT City hall, there's the Raffles Shopping complex linking to some of the malls directing you to Suntec city, Marina bay and Esplanande Theatre (the durian shape), if you take the underground route.
There's also the 5star Raffles Hotel and the famous Chjimes.

For our next trip, we went to Holland Village, which is a night spot for the yuppies.
But since, we don;t want to be along with hordes of people, we went on a morning trip instead.
This night out place is famous for its restaurants and pubs, e.g the "2am dessert" and "wala-wala."
To get there, for now, i think only taxis or buses are only available because the MRT is still under construction.

as it turns out, labeling and re-sizing all the photos to make it look like a collage is very painstaking...,
i'll be posting more pictures soon of little india, orchard and clarke quay...
hang in there. ^0^

  2. A short visit, but with a lot to show! You have done a very good job here, selecting and making the collages! (I know a little about it.)

Yes, walking is normally the best way to exploit a place I think!

I believe I can see the famous Raffles hotel here? Not where you stayed? :-)
