{ The Train Ride from Munich to Vienna }
So my last post was all about the Hauptbahnhof train station in Munich.
and there are still loads of things I would like to share,
But I think I need to take a break from Munich for now,
or else I'll be stuck in the Bavarian side forever! ^0^
Let me see... there are still Museum and Garden visits I need to post,
the Church and some cool wandering sights, plus a bit of food tasting here and there.
Yes dear readers, that will all be soon! ^-^
For now,
Let's imagine ourselves on board the train as we're off to see Vienna, Austria.
From Munich to Vienna,
the trip takes roughly about 4 hours and makes a quick stop to St. Pölten Hauptbahnhof,
Salzburg,
Linz,
Vienna, then all the way to Budapest, Hungary.
Once inside, we're greeted with clean and nice comfy chairs.
When you book directly online, see *link here*
You can choose your preferred seat at an additional cost,
although, you don't really need to reserve seats in advance,
it's usually a first-come, first-serve basis.
But since, this was our first train ride ever,
It's best to be sure than sorry right?!
Pls note:
If the seats are reserved already,
the numbers are highlighted.
See those numbers 74 and 76.
Of course, one thing we forgot was to check the carriage number first,
and we didn't take into account the intense heat of the sun facing the window
even during winter !
So, we went into the wrong carriage, got into the wrong seat,
which unfortunately was reserved for some Hungarian family,
they were obviously a bit pissed off by us, but didn't ask us to transfer,
as if to say never mind, it's okay.
** they were making big hand gestures and arguing in front of us.**
we tried to apologize in english,
which i don't think they understand.
In our defence, we were in a hurry to board,
The train was fully packed that morning,
and we don't know how it works yet... lesson learned. ^0^
Our seats were literally a few feet away from our luggages,
*so we could check if they're still there from time to time.* hehe. ^0^
look at some of the passenger's expression.

The different time frame:
this is 12:42 PM
and another shot: 13:05 PM
notice the difference?!
the PA would announce the departure and arrival,
but if you're toasted in a deep sleep,
I don't think you'd hear it at all.

and now the moment we've been waiting for:
The breathtaking views: ✿
